Weird day ... for every customer rep I called today, I had to call twice in order to get the correct information ... and here is my reply to their "How am I doing" survey ... some of you need more training!!! @_@

Strength from Weakness

I am weak, especially when I’m tire, sleepy and stressed out … the worst of my nature is shown … but God makes me strong ... so the best of God's grace is shown instead

Attitude

Positive is better than negative ... can we say no duh! Keep the Truth close to your Heart and all will be Good.

God’s lesson on happiness

Despite poor circumstance, we can still find happiness. It is not the circumstance that defines us, it is our attitude. With the right attitude, anything is possible – even happiness. Live above the circumstance ... hold to Jesus teaching ... and the truth will set us free.

Sicko

I pray that God will keep us in good health ... especially after Chica getting sick from being drenched in today’s massive flash flood ... ... ... because our US heath care system will sure not!!! This year, I was not able to acquire contacts even when I’m qualified, had been following up on medical bills for months due to a typo, and forced to pay extra for “dental evaluation” due to a technicality. I’m spending more time debating with my health insurance than actually being sick ... good thing this issues are small potatoes compare to other people. Haha – and this movie just came out – making my point exactly.

Welcome Jaden!!!

Congratulation to Kevin and Lucy!!! Bouncing baby boy Jaden (7lb 9oz) just came into this world this morning (07/06/07).

Prayer Request

Pray that Chica stops having bad headaches ... and get mucho rest.

Promise

Despite the fact that I was not able to bring my self to pray out loud in public at work (and so I prayed silently), God listened to me and helped me ... keeping His promise to never abandon me =)

Trials after trials, God has given me that wisdom and strength to not repeat my old habits and teaches me how His way from His Words is much easier and better. For example, Jesus said:

30 Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength.’ 31The second is this: 'Love your neighbor as yourself.' There is no commandment greater than these."

Mark 12:30-31 NIV

These words have been with my for a long while, and I beg the question ... where is my priority??? My focus??? Nowadays, all I hear from everywhere is money, busy work and money. Yes, money is important for basic living and work is needed to be done, but is it more important than the love stated above by Jesus.

I admit that I do get anxiety over money and busy work ... but I wish to be more focus on people and relationship. If I chase after money and busy work, there will be no end to this hide and seek game ... because after getting some money, I probably want more money (just like a dog chasing after his own tail). Question ... do you wish to be like Ebenezer Scrooge from the novel, A Christmas Carol???

However, love outlasts them all!!! I will follow Jesus ... and love all around me (at least try to love who hates me ... and sometimes to my surprise, I saw hate disappear) ... and please don’t take family for granted because they are the ones who care the most.

To do list

Haha ... everyone has one ... and mine is getting longer (and shorter as I checked them off =) ) ...

I just realize that I did not turn on the VCR for ... hmm ... I don’t remember when ... probably over 6 months ... and just to think that I used to use that thing everyday.

I’m missing my Chica greatly ... @}-,-`-
... we are playing one big game of phone/email tag =P ... praying to God that all is good

Hammer Time

Bang!!! Bang!!! Boom!!! There goes one of the tiles ... shattering into shrapnel. Few more hits and the wall give away. Puff!!! In a cloud of dust as chunks of the wall falls to the floor. Bathroom demolition, you are not only ripping the place apart ... you are also getting a great workout. Oh ... must watch out for the army of mold spores ... man, you can smell them a mile away. In trenched in knee high debris ... can you just picture it?

Spring time!!!

Wow, birds are singing and sun is shining ... or should I say “burning”? hehe ... yup, I got a sun burnt already from spring skiing/hiking ... I’m glowing red =). Thank God for a wonderful awesome day with Chica.

Got to check out houses and hang with friends ... Pictionary is exciting loud and Wii tennis is hot. Got too many sticker on our faces =P

Finally, the closer for the week is crazy racket ball with the guys. “You’re the target!!” @_@

It is good to see good friends and have fun ... I got more to visit ... so, call me up!!!

Taxes

For the first time, I did my own taxes from scratch ... page by page of instruction ... line by line of fill-ins ... and thanks to my elementary schooling, I can add, subtract, and multiply ... using a calculator =P

Grace

It is surreal to realize how much I have not changed and how much I have changed ... by God’s grace (and yes, it's not a typo). Don’t worry, be happy =)

Inspiration

For some unknown reasons, God is inspiring me through Chica to do more ... even if she not trying ... =)
